I have opened both my 64 WM300s windshields just once when I got them years ago,but never again after realizing how scarce they were even 18 years ago, least I break a regulator or w/s frame. I have always denied myself the joy of driving with them open and have waited all these years thinking someone could and would reproduce them, hopefully in stainless.
My seals are ancient now and leak so for the first time in my life I will be forced to take them off and apart, GOD help me!
Who knows what I will find when I get started. Hopefully I can get them apart w/o tearing anything up.(wishful thinking)
I know you guys give good advice but , is there or was there a printed instruction manual for working on those old windshield frames? Surely there once had to be? If so,
would anyone out there owning such a piece of
literature be willing to sell a copy of it?
