Windshield Regulator Repair?

I removed a regulator out of a second series cab last summer and threw it in the parts bin. It is complete but was very tight when I removed it (had to help the windshield along from the outside by hand). All the parts look great, no breaks or gears worn out, so I blasted it and soaked it in silicon. It freed up significantly but still a little binding but now operating 100% with the crank handle. I can tell the cast housing is cocked a little which is preventing the large sprocket from making good contact with the (strap) flex piece with the holes in it. REBUILD QUESTIONS: Can the cast housing be bent back into original shape so all the sprockets are returned to their original tolerances(the two smaller gear shafts a few degrees off from being parallel)? If anyone has done this... did you bend it cold or use a little heat (vice?)? This one looks repairable from a layman's view. Just having a little fun while cleaning out the garage :) It's be for sale or trade once it's fixed. Thanks!
