I also found a '48 1.5 ton OTR truck with a perfect body, 5 window cab, just like Maui Daves Dump truck but with a plate on the back instead of a dump bed. It had a 325ci Poly installed and a 5 speed trans installed.
How about the '48 body on the W300 chassis with the 413ci motor, and installing the 325 Poly and 5 speed in a '46 WDX for a vintage repower?
I will be talking to a guy tomorrow about a crewcab for your W500 Marty.
Just think, if you could graft 2 crewcabs together and set them on the W500 and put on a 6 foot utiline bed. Now that would be a off road limo if I ever saw one!
