I will be digging out the reports on the Swamp Fox tests in the next few days and writing an article or two on them. When I get into that box of books, there is a book which lists the specifications for the Budd 16" wheels used on the M37/FFs. The W500 wheels should interchange with the military 2 1/2 ton 6x6, in the past I measured mine (have both trucks here) and they were the same center and six hole pattern. Would spend the time now to dig out the rest of the information, but my internet service is down and am borrowing a friends service right now.
