The instructions are the same for either distributor (points or elect). Find a 74 or later slant 6 car or truck with electronic ignition. Pull the distributor , ignition module, ballast resistor, coil and I pulled apart the wiring loom and took the appropriate wires (this way you have the correct connectors). Remember to open up the gap on your sparkplugs to about .035. If you not looking for the stock look you could use a super hot coil from one of the after market makers and make it even better. I have a wiring schematic some place, I'll copy and email. Dave
