Feathered wear, torn sidewalls, etc. Likely they are not "blemished" or bad from the factory, but are defective due to use/wear.

What many folks dont realize is that most of the surplus Michelins 11.00x16.0 that are used on our PWs have been "gulp" repaired. Not a huge issue since we run them with tubes, but a big issue for the military trucks running them tubeless. Several of the tires I got from Sexton were repaired, actually two sold unrepaired, they sent more at n/c.
