I have a little differnt take on the subject. I appreciate modified trucks, however any modifications must complement the history and character of the truck. I have seen many well-done, "modernized" PW's and the thing that turns me off the most is the lack of Budd Wheels. PW's have 5-lug budd wheels. This is a critical styling feature and contributes greatly to giving pw's their distinct look. Unless you figure out a way to put your budd wheels on this other drive train than you are just making an ugly truck with a great linage.
