I've heard that putting a small amount of black pepper in a radiator with a small leak will plug the leak.
Now, I'm not advocating this -- I just wonder if anyone here has tried it.
It doesn't sound like something I would want to do to my radiator (I'd rather try the toothpick method PwrWgnDrvr describes in a true emergency), but any thoughts on the pepper method?
