A B-1 should be from 1948 or 1949. This would have what is known as a first series bed. To be sure check the serial number on the driver side door post (between the hinges). People on the Forum can tell you what the serial number means as far as year of production. Once you confirm what year it is, check with a few sources listed on the home page under related links:
