I have a 76 w/190,000 miles on it. Has spent lots of it's life on and off road. Front wheel bearings, and hubs have been replaced twice. I'm still running the original front brake discs. I bought aftermarket ones that only lasted about 25,000 miles. No prob's. Keep em greased and torqued, you'll be fine. By the way it's an awesome axle for snow, go anywhere anytime. I live in CO. Wouldn't trade it for anything.
