in most autodealership service departments
10-30 techs there is usually only one or maybe 2 Journeyman technicians that do heavy duty work engine, trans, diff, and they have been doing it for a long time. The COSTS associated with MISTAKES are too high to trust the job to anyone but the most experienced and highest trained technician.
you might contact the local automotive Machinist's union and see if there are any retired Mopar HD technicians in your area that you might contact to help you with this (and your other) project(s) (most of them will have kept all their special tools). sometimes working technicians do some "moonlight" work projects on their off days.
