From what research I could dig up on the 413's, they were used extensively in cars in the early 60's untill '65. Some trucks got them. After '65 they were used in motor homes and commercial trucks. They were also used in Mack trucks into the 70's.
This motor uses a 6 bolt crank. DC told me thay also used a 8 bolt crank, and I think he said something about the crank interchanging with a 440 crank. The set up you need for this engine and bellhousing is a NP435 (or a 5 speed) with a 9 1/4" input shaft, and the thicker flywheel clutch assy found on D500's from the 60's. Honestly I have found a complete set up as just described with a direct drive 5 speed and a PTO but the fellow wants $900 for all the parts I need, and the price just seems way out of line (since it's a direct drive 5), especially since I have to pull all the parts myself or buy the whole truck for $1k.
