I have 2 manuals for it, and know my truck inside and out, so I know that the hoses are connected and correct, however earlier today I did find that the EGR hose has been slipping off the EGR valve,it gets pliable when warm, then slips off, I think a zip tie around the end of the hose should cure that. and if that happened when he tested it i'll bet that could have done it,but i don't think it was off at the time. thank you for all the excellent suggestions and keep them coming everyone.
