I am waiting for the UPS man. He has a package for me from Vintage PW. I am expecting it anytime. I had ordered a lot of parts to redo the suspension on my 52 FF PW. So last night when the door bell rang at the usual UPS delivery time, I went to the door expecting the UPS man. No way, instead I find a member of this forum (only to be named by himself if he wishes). He has a fully loaded trailer. He said he was having some problems. He could not get his load correctly balanced on his trailer and could not exceed 15mph without much un-natural movement of the truck. Luckly he had picked up his load only 2 miles away from my place. We looked at his load and had a couple ideas on how to reload it. None look easy or fun. The upshot of this is that I now have a non-running backhoe in my driveway, which is just fine. The surprising thing is that my wife agreed to it with no problems and is not upset at all (At least until she backs into the bucket while turning her Suburban around).

The only "complaint" that I have is that it is not running. If it were, I would have the driveway cement torn up and the gravel all leveled out so that I could have new cement poured. Darn I could have used an operating one.
