Calvin and I have logged aprox 5300 miles going to PW rally's this year, two TX and a Colorado rally. Calvin has been one of my best friends for a number of years and a lot of you know Cal from his letters to Gordon describing his rally trips and his humorous out takes of each trip.
Today Calvin went into the hospital for a catheter scope to see why he has been so light headed lately " we had hoped some of his meds were reacting with each other"
they found that one artery was 80% blocked and another one was 50-60% blocked!
They decieded to angioplasti the one artery and put in a tube to keep it open and to place him on meds to try and reduce the other blockage. Cal came out fine and is spending the night in the hospital and should be let out tommorrow morning.
I am very relived, Cal has many more rallys to attend with my family and I and I for one am looking forward to all of them.
If you have time would you please send Cal an email to tell him your thinking of him and glad everything turned out well, I know it would mean an awfull lot to Calvin!!!
He doesn't have an email but Jim his son does so I am placing their email address in the spot mine would be so all you have to do is click on it and send him your best!!
