Rockwells are big and round like the rear on the early PW's but bigger. They use the same kind of drop-in and the ratio will be punched into a cast boss on top center of the drop-in section between the pinion and the bolt ring that holds the drop-in into he housing. There should also be a tooth count on the end of the pinion shaft in the center of the driveshaft yoke on the flat face between the center hole nd the threads. It'll say something like: (7.49) (7 teeth on the pinion, 49 on the ring gear) would be a 7 to one ratio
The Dana looks like the dana 60 stop-sign shape but bigger. IT should have a 70F cast into one of the webs running from the pinion end toward the cover and perhaps on the face of the axle beside and below the cover. In '59 this was most likely a rockwell.
