We had a problem withwafting odors from the system, had the tank pumped (3 bdrms and two adults living there) after four years. It probably needed it, but the scent didn't stop until we put more topsoil over the leach fields and re-seeded. Turns out that the original soil had settled and the system was too close to the surface. Really glad to spend $80 and not $8,000 By the way, who would do such an awful job (running a honey wagon) for that kind of money?
