.......I did return to the place where I saw those two trucks sitting on the side of a house,,, I bought them both....this could be the last post to this forum according to my wife.......Yes I am in trouble!!! It feels GREAT to be in trouble!!!! The one is a 1959 D500 with a 12 ft. DUMPbed with sides!! 20 inch rims, duals on rear, and looks to be in very nice condition inside and the sheet metal is very good on the outside, floors look very solid..... The other is a 64 d500 or d600 with a dumpbox like a regular dumptruck...chrome 20 inch rims 10 lug, duals in rear, and it has the tach in the dash, air brakes on all 4, and the front axle looks alot heavier duty than any d500 I have ever seen. The 64 looks very good in the sheetmetal dept. and I could tell that the door hinges had been replaced recently,, the owner said he had the rear axle totally rebuilt by a shop also new pistons put in the motor,, O Ya that 64 has a 413/5speed in it....Both trucks will be for sale when I get them up to the PowerWagon Farm in a few days........I have invested $2.600.00 in this venture so I hope I will be able to recoup this in the sales of these trucks..........wish me luck!!! and if anyone is interested in these trucks it will be first come first serve.....I will not part out either,,, whole truck or none.
