I don't know about tht quality firsthand..I believe that I saw an ad in here asking who good shippers are. I had an Dodge 270 engine (580lbs) shipped from Chicago to Portland, Oregon.

After calling several BIG name shippers, (quotes from $350.00 to $550.00) I called a single line 800 number in the Portland Yellow Pages under "trucking shippers".

I called "Freight Management & Allocation Co. 1-800-303-1245." They are located in Canoga Park, Ca. They are a shipping broker I think as she said they have many options for shipping.

I explained that I was not in a hurry to get the engine, & that is was a core only, and if it takes a month to get to me, thats fine, just find the cheapest way to Portland.
About an hour later she had a quote ready for me. The quote $246.22, I highly recommend giving them a try!

Talk to Maria, she is the one who helped me, she arranges the bill of lading, all the paper work for the selling person to ship it to you. You pay by Credit Card, and they ship to you. So all I am saying is, check them out, maybe you will like them too
