Sounds like a nice truck. My WM300 has a 360 in it and a winch and there are no front tend overloading problems. I suspect that a 360 V8 weighs not much more than the 230 I6. Plus your LU-4 winch weighs less than my MU-2 winch because the case is aluminum.
They say the M37 B series had a tendency to rust in the cowl area, check for that.
