Joe, There is virtually no duty between Canada & the US anymore with free trade. There never was any duty on an antique vehicle(25 years old or older), but you are going to have to get him to have a broker do the paperwork for you. Just call any border broker company & you give them power of attorney to act on your behalf. Then when Dennis arrives at the border, he just picks up the paperwork from the broker & way he goes! It's a nominal fee on a car or truck...maybe $50. I buy & sell between here(Vancouver, BC) & the US on a daily basis & once you get all their rules & regulations sorted out, it's really very simple, esspecially when it's something made in the US going back to the US. Little trickier if you want to bring a Mercedes Unimog or other Import into the US from Canada.
