Door Latche, Repair WC Closed Cab??

Thinking about going over all parts that control door operation. Any advice!! Dos and donts. Can I get replacment parts if needed?? The Dodge boys. PS There is alot of play on the drivers side inside handle. Up and down. If I dont put the handel in the right position the door opens??? Thanks Bill.
