could use studded tires but not always legal
leave chains loose a few links for mud/snow
(you should have clearance for the chain to come off the tire about 2in in mud without
hitting any sheet metal)
tighten for ice.
jeep is fairly light so you could use bar type ice chains all the time as opposed to hwy type with no vbar
7.00x16 is a better fit on the narrow jeep wheels than the 7.50x16
