o/t looking at plasma cutters any reccomendations ?

i'm looking at buying a plasma cutter that will handle steel up to 3/8 or 1/2 inch thick. should i buy miller,hobart,century,lincoln,etc.? anytips or suggestions? thanks, jim in n.y.
