I did a 318 conversion last winter. I did not keep good $$ records, didn't want to get shocked. But if you have a GOOD running 318 needing nothing, I would figure a minimum of $1500 to do the conversion. This would cover the Helitool 318 Kit, Helitool Power Steering, New Chelsea PTO and Drive Line. You will need to find a NP-435 with dual port or left port PTO (good Luck) as the NP-420 with PTO will not clear the BH. The conversion is well worth the time and funding.
If you decide to go with the 318 conversion, email me. I have all the NAPA and BIG A Part numbers you will need. It will save you multi hours sitting on the stool figuring out part numbers.
