Kampai Dave, we went fishing out of Numazu Bay today. We were after Mahi Mahi and possibly Blue Marlin. No luck on the big fish at all, but we managed to catch a few tiny fish near shore. The most surprising thing I saw today was the flying fish. There were dozens of them and they are able to soar for extreme distances, probably well over 200 yards. When flying fish are around, then Mahi Mahi are usually nearby feeding on the flying fish.
