I had to replace mine on the rear diff, and I will put the same one in the front when I get to it. I went to the plumbing section of the hardware store, and got a small threaded brass plug with a square end. It is "1/8 PS" which I think is a designation for pipe thread, versus regular bolts/taps. It is about 3/8" in diameter. I bought a pipe thread tap to match it and tapped the hole which was clogged with POR-15 from a previous paint job.
