I've used Dot 5 for over 15 years and never had a problem. In fact you will find wheel cylinders have less problem cause Dot 5 doesn't absorb moisture the way Dot 3 fluid does. Use fresh rubber on the wheel and master cylinders and it will be the best change you can make to improve brake reliabili
