When I installed my new axles I also installed all RH threads. It seems that when Bevis&Butthead change your wheels at the Dapper Dan Fuel stop in the middle of the Mojave Desert they will snap off all 8 lugs (or five) before figuring out that anything is wrong. I figured, what the heck I'll join the 19th century in at least this one aspect. Brian is correct, the metalurgy is good enough now to torgue these puppies all the way up to 105 lbs and forget them until your stuck without a spare or a lug wrench in Beautiful Downtown Hollister. = )
