I have a spare starter you can borrow if you need one. It's the foot type, but it will get you on the trail. BTW, If anyone in the region needs thier starter rebuilt, Smith Auto Electric (no relation, I swear!) in Yakima, Wa. rebuilt a baskett case starter of mine for $100. The warranty their work for a long time also, so in my mind it's worth it. I'm sure they can set you up with a solenoid unit if you want, and they also sell 12 volt alternator conversion kits for those interested. They rebuild 6 or 12 volt generators with the same warranty.
