Agreed - I have 12 acres with the house on one acre. I mow the "yard" with the tractor and bush hog in about 1 hour and it does a good job. My neighbor had two big Craftsmen riding mowers for 3 acres and he killed both of them trying to keep up with the lush growth after a rain. My first tractor was an 8N - the current one is a '59 Ford 600 diesel. It cuts, bales and plows with no complaints. The 8N is great - just make sure you put an over running clutch on the PTO because they will push you thru a fence if you get in a jam and can't stop.
