I had a chance to fly in that DC-3 a few yarrs back it wa sawsome! Those are the last remaining pair of the original Military EDO floats. They were found in some guys yard down in Texas. They are huge as I recall they were about 8 or 9 feet high. Needed a ladder to get up on the floats than another ladder to reach the original boarding ladde, since it sits in a level flight attitude on the floats. that is an awsome old bird.
