When people take their Power Wagons mudding, is there much disassembly of components required to clean out mud from internal components such as differentials, u-joints, brakes, steering knuckles, clutch, tranny, transfer, etc.?

I've always thought it would be fun to go mudding, but I've always been afraid of getting crud in the innards of the truck, and ruining something, or having to take apart so many components to avoid ruining them, that I would never want to do it again.

I know the military used these trucks in muddy conditions a lot, but then again they also had teams of mechanics to clean, replace or repair the parts. And they did replace a lot of parts, from what I understand.
