Finding good auto parts people is really difficult. Most these days can only use their computer. They do not know cars. The stores in my area have really dumbed down their staffs. I guess they were not willing to pay the price for the knowledge. The only exception are the NAPA stores. They seem to still have some good people. All the chains have gone the other way. Most good people left or were forced out about 5 years ago in this area.
Typical of most of them is that they need to know the year and model and etc before they can give you anything and then if it is only a few years old. Gone are the days when you could walk into a store and they could identify the part in your hand and walk back to the shelf and get the right part every time.
