I have used a short piece (6") of galvanized water pipe which screws in into the grease nipple hole at the end of the bolt. Buy an extra one or two they will fail with time if you really have to bang on them. I then attach a slide hammer (auto body tool) and work the bolts out. Be sure to have all the weight removed from the spring and I have also had to apply a little heat with a propane torch to get them moving.
