I've seen this truck for years while commuting to and from work. It's now for sale. It's a 68 W-100HD or Special, that is, it is a 1/2 ton but the axles are 3/4 ton. Short sweptside bed. 318LA with 4-speed. Recent alternator, battery and I think the radiator and cluch slave cylinder is fairly recent. Lots of oil everywhere underneath. Must be the typical PW rust preventative option.

Body is solid, no rust through. There are areas of surface rust, including the entire bed floor. Minor dents and dings and the area above the windshield is really dinged. Original baby blue paint badly faded and missing in many areas. Tires fair. Seems to run OK, no smoke. One exhaust manifold cracked.

I really wanted to get this to use until the M37 is on the road, and as a second truck for the wife if hers goes into the shop. My son could sand and prime the body and work on it until he's ready to drive, and then it would be his truck.

Alas, the wife wants the kitchen done first. (sigh)

Contact Gil at 503-257-8649. He's been asking $2995 for it, but just dropped the price to $2495. I don't think it will last too long. It's between 139th & 143rd on the south side of E. Burnside in Portland.
