So far, the PW is moving along. The bodywork is complete from the cab forward. The axles have been updated with new seals, bushings and bearings. As you can tell, I've decided to take the V8 route to pull some of the many hills here in PA. My 3/4 ton is what I will keep as original. I have found and purchased the hydraulic bellhousing. The tranny is my next step.

I've reviewed the helitool site, but they dont list specific years (they say that the later NP435s had longer output shafts...I dont know what year "later" is). I know I am going to end up somehow getting this truck off the ground just to see what the tranny is. To calm my curiousity, I posted this message to maybe get a good answer before I even picked up a wrench.

How's your PW?? You should be very near completion. I'll look for you on the road.
