The problem that you need to look at first is getting them across the border. I tried to have tires shipped from Alberta to Washington. They would not do it because of the Canadian custom's requirements. An agent is required, and it makes the cost of the tires way too high. I ended up going to Alberta and pick them up. I had no problems getting across the border with them in the back of my truck. I did declair them and had receipts. No duty was exacted from me. It was cheaper to go get them and spend a few extra days camping than pay the shipping and custom fees.

The dealer I bought tires from desperately wants to sell in the US but shipping fees kill him. He has many people who drive up and load up their trailer and head back across the boarder.
