Shipping heavy parts

Do any of you guru's have advice on shipping
heavy parts such as tires and rims?

I'm looking as some tires/rims in eastern
Canada, but I'm in Colorado. I'm just trying
to figure out what the shipping might be,
and if it's worth it.
