I have noticed the same thing. Noticed the list here has grown a lot. Wondered if it was maybe the economy or maybe the recognition that Joe is getting on the web site it generating more business for him.

But on the other hand some of these trucks have been for sale a long time.

I think the economy has a lot to do with it. Like it or not people dont spend money when times are tough and they sure arent gonna spend it on a hobby and PW's are for the most part a collector/hobby for a lot of us. If someones job is shaky they are gonna tighten the belt. Them not spending money then leads to making the economy more tough.
Also if times are tough for someone the toys are the first to go to either get out of making payments or use the cash for something else.

We've had a couple trucks here go up for sale because the family needed something. I think I rememeber a down payment for a house, new family vehicle...........

Power Wagons are like any other collector car the values will go up and down and flucuate over time. Most generally it will go up over time so if someone has the time and money to buy trucks and then sit on them for a while they will eventually make some money.

I think a majority of the PW's for sale here and on the web are not selling for 2 reasons..

#1 Price is TOO HIGH on a lot of them!!!!
(i'd be willing to bet most have a 50%-100% mark up on them from original cost! I seem to remember a yellow looking open cab PW firetruck on a web site for about 8000$ and now its down to 4750$? HMMMMMM??? I know everyone's stuff is worth a certain dollar amount until its time to sell! We are seeing that "time to sell" and thats why we have a lot of trucks for sale here!!!!!!!!

#2 Slow Economy and people arent gonna turn loose with their money easily and arent gonna do it on "fun" things.
