Have you ever used grease to pop pilot bushings out? Fill the hole in the pilot bushing with grease, then tap a close fitting rod into the open end of the bushing and the bushing will often pop out from the pressure of the grease behind the end of the bushing.

I have also used a grease gun to break free wheel cylinder brake pistons. Just adapt a zerk fitting to the bleeder port, plug the inlet port, place the wheel cylinder in a vice so neither one of the pistons can pop out completely and use the pressure of the grease gun to force both pistons to move. Of course, you need to clean every bit of the grease out of the wheel cylinders when you are finished.
