We see a lot of posts on the Forum by people who claim to be Texas Power Wagon enthusiasts or want to connect with Texas Power Wagon folks, but they never join us at Texas Power Wagon events. We can't help but wonder if they are like the "BRAND X" picante sauce that is "Made in New Xxxxxx" and links itself with Texas to help sell the sauce.
The only way to show everyone you are the genuine thing is to show them the dashboard sticker you will get when you come to Pat and Wanda's Tailgate Party and Swap Meet, September 20, 21, & 22, 2002, at Brownwood, Texas.
The Tailgate Party is the second Texas Power Wagon event held each year and gives everyone another chance to renew old friendships or come meet the rest of us.
You don't have to be a real Texan to come, but you'll be the real thing by the time you leave. Some notable examples are Dennis "Slo Talkin" Sherman, Cal "Wagon Train" Bescheinen, and Judd "Flea Market Man" Beitz. Each has become a Texas legend. And there are a few Texans who are legends. Remember when Dwight and Kimberly didn't have any Power Wagons and when Greg G. brought his first one directly to the Reunion at Port Aransas?
Texan or "soon-to-be" Texan, join us at Brownwood in September. We want to see all our old friends and meet all our new friends.
