Powder coat vs paint

I live near a small industrial park. There is a machining business there that has a large powder coating oven. The owner says they could probably fit my flatfender cab in there as well as doing other sheet metal like fenders, bed sides, etc.
Should I opt for this in a restoration or good quality paint? How superior is powder coating?
