Mike your right. Being a 30 year retiree from UPS I'm slightly prejudised but the item wether it be a piece of glas aor a door ha to be packed so it is bullett proof. UPS has classes for shippers to teach them how to package properly, and yes it has to take a 5 foot drop to the floor to be considered packaged properly. I shipped a tailgate this spring and built a 2x4 frame around the perimter and covered the sides with 1/2 inch plywood. I made it fine. A piece of cardboard wrapped around a door is asking for trouble. Just my .02 worth Dean
