We run a fleet of 6 service trucks 5 99 Dodge 3500 turbo Cummins with auto trans. 1 99 ---- F-450 Power Stoke with 5 speed stick
the 12,000gvwr Dodges are constantly overloaded yet they consistantly outperform the F-450. Except for an appetite for brake pads and shoes the Dodges are relatively trouble free. The F-450 has gone through 3 transmissions in 140,00 miles all of the dodges have 200 plus thousand miles and only one has required a transmission.And I suspect that was pilot error.
