You folks have probably been wondering whatever happened to the activity surrouding the proposed WDX bed project! Well, despite the trials and tribulations of this thing, and the interference of my busy daily routine with other business, I'm happy to report that the effort (which I've affectionately named "PROJECT TURTLE")is alive and well! After more time, sweat, and money than I care to think about, things are finally starting to take shape, and I hope to be able to show some initial samples of "living metal" at the Webster, MA meet in a couple of weeks.
I was able to link up with a couple of nearby vendors to help with the work, and with the positive attitudes and press capacity (600 tons), I feel progress will at least be accelerating from here on in.
When I first started this project, I couldn't figure why nobody else had tackled this before - now I know why!!!! So, hang tight a little longer - work is progressing at a much faster pace as I write this, and it won't be long before I can start shipping some parts. Thanks for your patience.
