Mine stems from coming from a family of Dodgers! I admire the thought of the practical design and the originality that comes along with these old beasts! Plus, there are way fewer PW nuts and trucks that survived the years than the Model T people. (with all due respect to them) As my Brother in law used to say...'Most everyone has owned a chevy or a ford...but only dodgers KEEP their Dodges!!' He had a fleet of 69-71 W300 & W500 wreckers. (7 total) I still agree with this motto!
