What is the down side to using headders on a v-8? There must be something or the manufacturer would install them at the factory right? Seems like they would be a lot less expensive to make than cast iron manifolds. One of mine is cracked which is why I ask. I'm debating to have a dual system installed with headders and a "quiet" exaust (turbo max?) or just run the original 2 into 1 and manifolds. (This is on my hauler truck.)
