Hi,

Pull the dust shield from the trans, this will be pretty easy, a couple bolts, the starter, some braces, etc. Once the cover is off, you can see the flexplate and the bolts that hold it to the converter. Use your fingers and try to turn the converter (part with the ringgear teeth) and see what moves with it. If the flexplate moves with it and the motor does not turn, you have either a damaged flexplate (part from crank to converter), or broken crankshaft. If the bolts have come out of the converter/flexplate, you'll probably find a lot of metal shavings as the bolts will hit the block as they rotate when loose.

Once you get the cover off, I'm sure you'll figure it out pretty quick.
