I use my vehicles for hiway driving and weekly desert canyon crawling. I need reliable and easy to fix, not trendy and high tech. 1.) I am not being shot at by Taliban, nor anybody else, and; 2.) I don't competition mudbog, and; 3.) I am not going to become an MIA nor POW in my M-37 or W200, nor will they likely be inducted into military service, and; 4.)I have not seen beadlocks for the W, PW, WM, or M-37 for $100 ea. (we just discussed $250), and; 5.) I have never lost a bead with air in a tube and when flattened and the tube replaced, never had a bead fail to seat, with the entire repair taking less time than it does to unscrew a beadlock. I have never had a tire with setscrews twist on a rim, even when briefly run flat. Beadlocks and runflats with on board inflators in combination are GREAT on military vehicles. without the runflat liner or auto inflation system all a beadlock does is make it harder to fix a flat. Beadlocks are "trendy" on other vehicles, like 12" lifts and lots of hot pink shocks absorbers were 10 years ago and "shift on the fly" and leather seats are these days, perhaps even useful in rock crawling and mud bogging, but ya need to heed the words of Thoreau: "Simplify", gentlemen....
